Thanks for stopping by. I’m Vera. I hope you’ve come to know me a little bit through my work and my resume (shameless plug).
In taking life in stride, the most challenging thing that I’ve had to face recently has been how fast graduation came. Although I’m not done with furthering my education, I will be done being a student. When I first started college, senior year looked so far away. The end was 8 semesters away! Now that I’m practically done, I realize that time flies faster than we’d like it to. Or rather, faster than we’re prepared for it to.
In the last 4 years, I think I have become very self-aware. I know who I am, I know who I can be, and I know what I’m capable of. I think there’s always room to grow, and that growth develops with our self-awareness. Looking back now, I chose my profession when I entered high school. I liked the creative aspect, and I liked new things. And I liked movies. I think that I stuck to it because it was all I knew, and I felt like I was going to start from scratch if I changed my mind. And the thought of that scared me. For a while, I grew tired of Mass Communications, and I panicked. What would I do? But no fret, now I’m back with the same love that I had before, and I’m excited to learn as much as I possibly can.
Join me on my journey of life after college. Let’s enjoy the ride together.
